RTA Senior Reduced Fare Card
Naperville Township residents may apply at the Naperville Township Senior Services Office. The card entitles seniors age 65 and over to ride Metra trains, Pace buses, and CTA trains and buses, at a reduced rate, anywhere in the six-county RTA service area. To apply for a card you must present a photo ID card such as a driver's license or state ID card, a passport, or other official government-issued identification bearing your birth date and a photo. Appointments are not necessary, Monday - Friday, 9:00am until 4:00pm. Applications for the RTA, Reduced Fare program for persons with disabilities are available.
Ride DuPage
A subsidized transportation service is available to Township residents age 65 and over, and persons with disabilities. This program is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day. To take advantage of this transportation program for seniors, you must:
- Be at least 65 years of age.
- Live in the Township.
- Be registered with the Township Senior Services Office.
Permanently disabled persons must:
- Live in the Township.
- Have a valid disabled RTA card
- Be registered with the Township Senior Services Office

The cost of a one-way trip is $1.00 flag pull plus $1.00 per mile.

Loan Closet
Senior Services maintains an assortment of medical supplies such as; walkers, bath and shower benches, commodes, and wheelchairs, which can be borrowed for a period of 3 months. (May be renewed once). Call Jenny Dawley for information and availability.
