General Assistance is provided to individuals or families in need of food, shelter, and emergency relief, who meet the financial and non-financial requirements, until they’re able to support themselves.

Emergency Assistance

Emergency Assistance is a financial assistance program administered by the Township to individuals or families once per twelve month period (5 times maximum) for utilities, rent, and/or food. They must meet financial and non-financial requirements, and have a disconnect notice for utilities and/or a 5 day notice on their rent. Please contact us for more information.
