Welcome to the official Naperville Township 708 Mental Health Board website! The MHB was established by referendum under Illinois Community Mental Health Act (405 ILCS 20/0.1 et seq.), to aid individuals in the enhancement, maintenance, and/or restoration of their mental health within the context of their environment.

What Does the Mental Health Board Do?

As the local mental health authority for Naperville Township, the Board shall have the power to construct, repair, operate, maintain, regulate community Mental Health Board facilities and/or contract with providers of services for Township residents with, or at risk of Mental Illness, Developmental Disabilities, Substance Abuse/Dependence/Addictions.

The Naperville Township 708 Mental Health Board has funding available for organizations serving residents of Naperville Township and that are working in the area of mental health, substance abuse, and intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Please note that 100% of the available funds must be used to serve Naperville Township Residents. Applicants will be required to document the means by which township residency is confirmed.
